Together we stand, but divided we fall. We’re going to be able to do a lot more to make DAOs an unstoppable force for good in the world if we all work together. The first step to getting people to use DAOs in the world is to improve onboarding. While some aspects of DAO onboarding UX are different from platform to platform, a lot of the basics are the same. A good first step would be to support generalized (platform agnostic) solutions that improve DAO onboarding.
MetaCartel operates by pooling capital into a MolochDAO and allowing shareholders to vote on how to distribute those funds. This is obviously awesome and Aragon has recently built Dandelion Orgs to allow anyone to do the same with an Aragon DAO. We’re very excited about this. We’d like to spin up a Dandelion Org so that we could both (Aragon and MetaCartel) put in 10ETH to give out to teams improving DAO onboarding for communities. This way we could leverage our capital (financial and human) to support teams building awesome stuff. This would look like collaboration on deal sourcing, screening, fund allocation, and ongoing project support.
Since we’re both already doing this work, combining capital will allow us to do more with less. Since we’ll be using a Moloch framework, either party could exit at any time. Minimal risk, but a large potential upside due to our combined capital and effort. Yay for positive sum value creation
