Summary

Art Rate is an NFT Marketplace where artists can convert their Artworks into NFTs and sell them. Moreover, by using our social media platform they are able to get in touch and connect with other artists from all around the world who share common interests.

Here they are also able to gain more knowledge and read the latest news and developments around their area of interest by using a section called Wiki that uses text mining algorithms (implemented in our systems) that search through the internet and big data banks and find related topics. https://wiki.artrate.com

Problem

We have collected so many artworks by various artists from the Middle East. These artists do not have any dedicated platform to be able to sell their artworks as NFTs. On the other hand we want to provide a NFT Marketplace for DAOā€™s ecosystem.

Solution

Our goal is to develop an application so that we can integrate this service with DAOā€™s ecosystem. We look at our users as creators of data and we want to convert these data into NFTs.

We think that by numerous improvements in information technology, living conditions are changing in societies simultaneously. The ā€œHomo Sapiensā€ will proceed with exploring and occupying the universe to continue his life. Artworks are a policy of lexical and logical facts in the artistā€™s imagination when a phenomenon is deemed as a subject in the artistā€™s eyes.

What artists call creativity is the beginning of learning in the deep part of their conscious and unconscious. But since this information is not available in the form of primary sources to the artists, they need analytical technology to increase their knowledge.

One of the problems that exist due to the lack of sources is the increasing complexity in lifestyles which also affects artworks. Moreover, the emergence of fundamental new attitudes in the culture and art in societies is another example of this issue. It means that the most complex human attitudes and perspectives are studied in artworks, and would have originated from artistsā€™ experiences and memories.

Today, there are millions of unknown young artists all around the world who are willing to have better tools for comprehending the subjects in their minds. Our mission is to create cognitive and linguistic tools on technology platforms and create communication chains for their cooperation and trade.

THE FUTURE DIRECTS US TO SHAPE THE POWER OF IDENTITY IN NETWORKED SOCIETIES
One of our main challenges will be what we call job identity. It means creating a safe environment to motivate artists. As a result, providing more motivation along with maintaining appropriate rights and facilities in a way that expands their activity in social networks and improves their works of art.

CENTRALISE BIG DATA IN THE COMMUNITY COMMONWEALTH ART

The workspaces encourage the artists to record their culture and artworks by giving proper openings and arranging hashtags.

Blockchains technology provides a suitable platform to decentralize social networks and their data, and develop peer-to-peer communication for making new careers and societies and also for brokerage and all the related businesses. Establishing commonwealth in art communities is another challenge for us which is achievable in the Average platform in the progress of analyzing and producing structural data in the social networks.

PRIVATE WORK SPACE
In their own space, the users can prepare their mental space to create their work by focusing or studying the phenomena and implementing and classifying their perceptions and thoughts.

PUBLIC WORK SPACE
In the public workspace, a place where artists can make their wiki, and describe their identity by using hashtags and participating in groups, organizations, teams, etc. Users can participate in the creation of a new artwork or take a role in the process of developing another art production. Also, by expanding their communication network, it can be effective and profitable in commercializing their own or othersā€™ art products. It should be noted that in this space, by considering the appropriate and optimal tools such as searching by hashtags or direct sharing in another social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and proper ecosystem for investors, art brokers, charities, auctions, etc., a suitable platform for exchanging and buying, and selling artwork is considered.

LAB SPACE
Phenomenology tools provide generators for extraction of data from open source data banks and data analysis platforms to draw a movement of subjectsā€™ comprehension. This route map could give meaning to system logs as memories, and by artistsā€™ actions in the platform and giving an emotional wallet to making wiki and hashtag creation or researches about subjects, graphs will be in emergence. These actions are kind of memories of the careers which are created by artistsā€™ actions in our systems. By the way, these graphs make huge data of careersā€™ memories which are overlapping with structural data that have been created by hashtags logic.

PLATFORM STRUCTURE

For the structure of the Art Rate platform, three layers are considered; Usersā€™ profiles, the Team community, and the Laboratory which contain some technical design for vindicating the main components of spaces that will be launched in the next versions.

Some of the requirements for proposing projects like their milestones and significant events, payment terms, targets and prioritized actions could be defined in graphs and legends. Because of the extent of the Art Rate project, it is needed to have an overview of the whole progress which will be taken soon. This CPM graph was designed for 11 months ahead.

Art_Rate platform is the result of a brainstorming which was held in Tehran, Iran, between "Romina Art Gallery ā€˜ā€™ and ā€œGodard Thinkers Teamā€. In that brainstorming session, lack of suitable tools for analyzing subjects to art creations and lack of proper platform for proposing and trading artworks were discussed. As a result of integrating these ideas, the concept of Art Rate started to emerge in our minds.

We can consider Art Rate as a kind of cultural program which tries to serve suitable services to its audience community who want to take a part in an art social network by their identities and making their careers. Even for supporting our local society, we signed two agreements with ā€œScience and Technology Paradiseā€ and ā€œKhane Sarhang cultural campusā€ to establish a campaignsā€™ management office and hold auctions and galleries there. Romina Art Gallery also supports art fields and the Godard Thinkers Team navigates the project.

Features & Details

Social media: where artists can create their own space or team up with other artists from all around the world with different backgrounds and give detailed explanations of their projects and use different tags so others can find them more easily. This social media must have features like:

  • My Space: Where people can manage their account and projects and share the latest news about their work and its progression. Here the artists can add multiple tags to their account and give a comprehensive description so that others can find them more easily according to their profession. In this section they can see the number of their Posts, Members and Followers. In My Space artists can also invite others to their projects.

  • Dashboard: Here the artists are able to see the number of people who viewed their profile and see their overall performance using charts and graphs.

  • People: In this section you can find other people by their profile data or user tags.

  • Spaces: Where artists can search new projects by their description or by their tags so they can join them or get more information about them.

  • Share: Artists must be able to share their projects and insights.

  • A secure messaging system: Artists must be able to send messages securely to their followers or people outside their space, so they can ask questions about a specific project or give some information about their own projects and the people who are involved.

  • Open Forum: A forum-type platform in which users with similar interests can talk about their topics of choice.

  • Receive Notifications in Real-Time: Users want to stay in the know and be alerted when someone they are following posts or when a significant event occurs in the news.
Being able to customize their privacy settings: Some people might prefer to share their information and insights publicly, but others donā€™t and choose to keep their content restricted to only users they know and follow.

  • Latest activity: In this section people are able to see what posts others have liked or in what activity they got involved.

  • Storefront: It is the primary feature. It should contain such info as bids, preview, owners, price history, and more.

  • Advanced Token Search: A customer must get robust data on items they need quickly, with minimum effort. An NFT marketplace should have all items sorted by some features (for example, music, images, videos, art, memes). Quick search enhances customer satisfaction.

  • Filters: This functionality is similar to the previous one as the main idea is helping choose the right product fast and effortlessly. We should divide all offers into several categories that impact buyerā€™s decisions in most situations. Those can be prices, recent goods, hot offers, best-selling, and more. Users will pick items they need faster, and it increases the probability of buying them.

  • Creating Listings: Give a right to customers to develop and send collectibles. We must ensure they can do that quickly and with no obstacles. Our platform has to generate a page where customers can submit a file, typing in the specific item data. Such info as title, tags, and description is a must.

  • Listing Status: Those who offer goods and pass item verification procedures should benefit from this option. It allows checking the status of the confirmation procedure. This feature is useful for implementing collectible verification.

  • Bidding Option: Making it possible to both purchase items and bid on them is critical for any e-commerce project. It attracts more users as some are interested in flexible pricing and do not wish to buy collectibles at their starting fees. Bidding is always fun. Do not forget to add an expiration date for an auction feature. Registered participants should have an opportunity to see information about the current status of their bids. It will help them decide whether to buy or keep on placing new bids. An auction watchlist is like a separate important feature.

  • Integrated Wallet: Users need a safe place to receive and store their non-fungible tokens. Not all options are suitable as some of them may have certain threats to the security of funds. That is why the NFT market service must have an initially inserted wallet for saving and submitting tokens with no fear. We must create and offer a connected, ā€œnativeā€, wallet instead of forcing our buyers to sign up with other online wallets. We should put their convenience in the first place. We should not create a wallet from scratch. We have to integrate our service with options like Formatic or Coinbase. We might need to create a list of the top-preferred wallets and add them to our platform.

  • Ratings: This characteristic is for newbies. Beginners may have no idea where to start from, how the system works, and how to choose items fast. Having a look at oneā€™s rating to find out whether other users consider this specific seller a reliable one might be enough. Thanks to ratings, the platformā€™s participants can rate others and provide feedback based on their impressions. It will help others see how credible every user is. Users with the top ratings obtain attractive rewards.

NFT Generator: This service generates artworks as a collection. The type and the format of the file is not important. Our Token Generator must be able to generate and convert digital arts into NFTs. There are some scenarios that must be considered that they depend on the file format of the artwork. The artist has to choose a scenario when generating a collection or the service chooses it automatically. These scenarios are as follows:

  • Layer scenario: The artist wants to generate a collection with some images. The service must prepare a section where they can upload these files in related folders. For instance eyes, bodies, hairs ,etc. After that, the service generates a unique image with those files as a collection. That is either an image or a gif.

  • Gallery scenario: The artist wants to generate a big picture that consists of some images. The service must prepare a section where artists upload those images and set some options to generate a big picture as a collection.

  • Music scenario: The artist wants to convert their music into NFT. The service must prepare a section where they can upload the music file and its cover. After uploading the file, the service creates a unique demo and a cover and then converts them into NFT.

  • Other scenarios: There are more scenarios like video, 3D, Book, etc.

  • Mint NFTs: the service must be able to prepare Metadata of a collection to mint on every blockchain that artists want.

    • Special Metadata: The service must get special data from AI after sending a collection to it and attach it to the collectionā€™s Metadata.
    • Artrate Cloud Service: The service must save all of the collections on Artrateā€™s own cloud.
    • IPFS: The service must integrate with https://ipfs.io

AI & Machine Learning: Using different types of Machine Learning Algorithms and Technologies we want our system to:

  • Recognizing Feelings and Emotions in a photo or GIF: By utilising various types of Machine Learning algorithms such as Classification and Neural Networks and Image recognition techniques in general, we would be able to identify various types of subjects such as Human Emotions (for instance Happiness, Sadness, Anxiety and . . .), Nature, Animals, different types of Objects and . . . then we can attach a number of related tags to these images and categorise them, so that the artist can exhibit and show their work of art to the world more easily.

  • Music Genre Classification: or classification of music into different categories or genres is a concept that helps us to differentiate between two genres based on their composition or the beats they withhold. Nowadays, K-Nearest Neighbour Algorithm (KNN) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) are the two most popular algorithms that are used in this area.

  • Suggesting related topics, articles and Arts: Every artist has a section called Wiki in their profile. Here they are able to write a detailed explanation of their work and the projects in which they are involved with other artists. We use Deep mining and Text mining algorithms to search through big open source and public data banks to find and suggest similar and related topics and articles to them so that they are able to find out more about the artists and people who share similar interests with them or update their knowledge in those areas.

Tech Stack
Architecture of Art Rateā€™s platform is based on microservices. Each service has its own identity and can communicate with others using specific protocols like REST or RPC. Each of these services can utilise one or more than one of the technologies listed below.

  • Programming languages: PHP 8, NodeJs (JavaScript,Typescript), Rust (or solidity), Anaconda (Includes all the Python Packages needed for Machine Learning and Data Analysis)
