Hey all, dropping in here to share a little update on how it all went down!
What went well
I think it’s safe to say that the event was a big success, with around 200 participants and 50+ sessions hosted! You can check this recap video teaser (with some spicy chilis included ):
The vibes were on-point, we got a great mix of communities merging together on both 2 days!
We were also able to collect a LOT of great content from interviews and talks during the event (around 30+ hours of footage), that we’d like to process and publish across our networks. We’re on a mission to spread the regenerative mindset far and wide and set an example for bridging cross-sector knowledge and expertise.
We’re super happy MetaCartel was able to jump onboard as a sponsor for this event (even if at a smaller capacity) and hope we can establish a long lasting partnership going forward <3
What didn’t go so well
In spite of the incredible community support we’ve received, we’re still facing difficulties closing the last gap of €3k on expenses for this event. This year has been quite challenging for us to secure sufficient funding.
We would love to know if there are ways in which we can support MetaCartel’s goals within our future events (online or in-person), and across our media network leveraging the content we’ve created. We’d be happy to co-create terms for an additional sponsorship package.
What’s next for us
-
PORTUGAL
We’re joining forces with ReFi DAO and TDF in Portugal for ReFi Week, along with ReFi Lisboa, Silvi Protocol, and the Crypto Commons Association. There, we will co-design new roadmaps for how the ReFi movement can evolve from discourse to tangible action. -
TURKEY
Istanbul holds this years edition of Devconnet, and we’re participating as a program partner with dpact.io on November 15th alongside Funding the Commons & the Token Engineering Commons! We’ll be leading a track on regenerative movements for positive impact in the climate crisis. Connecting with the Turkish community is a dream for us!
